What is a progression framework?
Good question! Progression frameworks (or career pathways, career ladders etc) are typically documents that describe how people can grow at a company. They'll generally include the seniority levels within the team or organization (for example CEO, Engineering Manager, Junior Designer) and a set of skills or competencies that are expected at each level.
The idea is you find your own position on that framework and read through the expectations, then compare with the position you want to get to to see how to make a move within the company (or do your existing job better).
You can find loads of examples in our public Progression Framework collection over at progression.fyi
